CEAE, which was founded in 1989, has an arm to promote Vietnamese artists. It is the sole and only State-owned centre specialized in introducing, exhibiting and exchanging Vietnamese Art.

CEAE has the following operating strategies:

• Introduce and give their first chance to young artists.

• Provide national and international exposure to confirmed artists.

• Ensure that well-established artists will have their place in the Vietnamese art history and heritage for the future.

Being an ongoing exhibition centre for well-selected painters and sculptors, each month, a new artist or a group of new artists will be presented at affordable prices. Since 1989, CEAE has showed over 200 art exhibitions of 332 artists to public in Vietnam and abroad.

The selection of works takes into consideration all different techniques and developments the artists are using. Only painters of good quality, non overcommercialized, are selected for exhibitions.

The main gallery of CEAE, GALLERY 43 TRANG TIEN, located in the most visited street of Hanoi (43 Trang Tien street, Hanoi) features works of nearly 250 artists in 6 showrooms. All persons interested to learn about Vietnamese Art even without any buying intention are most welcome. Works of young artists, promising artists, established artists are always on show so it is easier for you to compare and select good ones depending to your taste.
